Hails from a grape producing family in Mendoza, Argentina, with over 25 years in the wine industry, his expertise encompasses educational tastings, blogging for univision.com, wine consultations, judging at wine fairs including Vinitaly and Vinexpo, and acting as a import & distributor for some of the biggest names in the wine business such a Bodega del Fin del Mundo, Patagonia, Cuvelier Los Andes,Valle de Uco, Argentina. Now retired from the wine business, Fernando’s two decades of knowledge and experience are the inspiration for Escapes & Vineyards and the foundation of every tour he designs and hosts.

Carolina joined Escapes & Vineyards as a partner with over eighteen years of successful hotel leadership, managing premium brand hotels  such as Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Wyndham, Margaritaville and Sofitel and delivering world-class guest satisfaction, exceeding her customers  expectations. She prides herself on strong leadership that drives high levels of operational excellence contributing to the success of her business.

GUSTAVO BIONDO | Tours Coordinator

Gustavo Biondo, from Mendoza, Argentina, has a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, pioneer in managing elite guest groups in Mendoza and the rest of Argentina. Today he is involved in the wine industry, he was an important part of the hospitality and tourism team of Trivento winery and currently he is the head of tourism at Bodega Matervini, receiving wine enthusiasts from all over the world to show them the fantastic world of wine. Gustavo Biondo’s experience allows him to work together with Fernando Borquez, from Escapes & Vineyards coordinating the experience of the elite groups arriving into Mendoza and being available to them to enjoy memories worth repeating in this wonderful wine Capital.
